Alex AV’s passion for music began since 1989 when he bought his first guitar with barely 12 years of age. With 15 years old he performed at school some Pink Floyd covers but it was until 1994 when he discovered the world of underground dance music becoming a huge Sasha & Digweed fan. Having very limited equipment he began mixing, and in 1997 he signed into a University degree in music. The next year he bought his first turntables, developed his skills while electronic music scene grew it was “DJ Halo” Alex’s first nickname as a DJ and began playing in the most important clubs and events in Cholula, Mexico.

Audio Vicious has a style with a range from electro to tech & progressive house, going from one style to another, then back again seamlessly. As a producer, Audio Vicious also names him self as AAV producing his own tracks with a touch of deep & progressive house, and by the nick of DJ Halo Mx used to make some electro house tracks. Audio Vicious is currently working with Adriana B. as “HamsaH”, producing and mixing together progressive house & electro clash.

In 2001 he settled his studio giving him the opportunity to experiment with his production career, leading him to release BIT Records México (BRM) in 2004 on which he published “Yaxche Collective”, a collection of 4 CDS: Chill out 01, House 01, Trance 01 & DJ Sessions 01 (mixed by DJ Halo MX), with the help of other producers, getting a national distribution.

The same year he wins an international DJ Contest hosted by www.beatfactor.net . The 2hr winning set was published on Proton Radio. As a result of this, he got his own 2 hr. show at www.club246.com, and now a days he hosts his own show at www.adnalternative.com.ar broadcasting every Monday & Saturday.

Going further with his record label, in 2005 he released BIT Records Digital selling tracks in MP3 format with worldwide distribution at www.releaserecords.com, www.juno.co.uk, www.resonantvibes.com, www.djdownload.com , www.trackitdown.net , www.neomusikstore.com and www.3beatdigital.com.
His tracks published on BRM are being supported by DJ’s around the globe like Sandra Collins (Perfecto Records, US), Stefano Greppi (Screen Recordings,UK), Night Architeks (Tasty Lick Records, US), Sultan (Yoshitoshi/Release Records/Tao/Swift, CAN), DJ Pepe Camil (Nordika/Supernova, MEX), Atone (Ocelotl, MEX) and many more great DJs.
Now a days BRM has more than 15 artists on its roster coming from Mexico, Argentina, Dominican Republic and France, and is part of the Balance Records Pool (USA) and Release Promo (CAN).
Audio Vicious had a Proton Radio appearance on August 11th ’06 at the Balance Record Pool Show, and he is currently playing at some of the best events around Mexico’s central region.
