Federico Monachesi was born in 1985 in Tucuman, Argentina. Since he was a little boy, Federico was interested in music, and at the age of 13, his leaning towards electronic music was clear. At this age, he was already recording his first mixes which consisted of a mixture of techno and trance.
Some time later, he discovered house and progressive house leaving other styles aside. By 2005, he was already playing as a dj at pubs and different dance events at his town and starts producing by the nickname 'derick m'.
His tunes were mainly deep house and deep progressive. Then, in 2006, Fede dedicates to produce straight progressive house, and under the name Federico Monachesi, he catches the attention of many djs, getting his tracks played by Hernan Cattaneo, Gerardo Boscarino, DJ Tarkan, Nicholas Van Orton and Roberto Ceratti to name a few.
