Marcelo Vasami

Marcelo Vasami was born on June 7th 1984.

His first contact with music begins in the year 2000 when his cousin, who was a DJ, made him listen to disco and house music.

As time passed by, he really got into the world of electronic music, listening to artists like Hernan Cattaneo, Martin Garcia and Steve Lawler, among others. In the year 2003 he he made his firsts steps as a DJ, performing in private parties.

A year later he began his career as a producer, working hard in his home studio, looking for his own personal sound.

He sent his productions to several national and international DJ´s, getting great feedback... Hernan Cattaneo was one of the first artists to give him support, mixing his track "Ru" on his radio show, then another great Marcelo's track: "Solemn" was played in Creamfields 2005 by Guille Quero, an artist that have supported him playing his tunes in his live sets and radio shows.

Same way Martin Garcia supported Vasami´s tracks on the great warm up he did for Sasha on the summer of 2006, playing his track "Stereo Cosmos", but that wasn’t all, on the last Moonpark with Steve Lawler, Garcia played "Spectra", getting positive feedback from the crowd!

Marcelo already have released many productions like his two EP´s in BIT Records México: "Spectra" (including "The Hole") and "MG", with the inclusion of "Stereo Cosmos", showing his progress and getting support from many great artists from all over the world, like Deepmariano, Gustavo Di Tomaso, DJ Tarkan, Anthony Pappa, etc, and collaborating with artists like D-pen making the track "Walking in the Dark", signed by Feral Code Records, and with Pablo Roma, with the release of "Pushing me Away", making the best seller track of all times on Toes in the Sand Records.

As a DJ, he is part of the staff of "Sol Solar Bookings", and with only 22 years old, already has shared booth with artists like DJ Paul, Guille Quero, Deepmariano, Gustavo Di Tomaso, Festa Bros, among may others.
