Born in Lincoln City, in the Buenos Aires Province, Mariano started a two year residency in 1992 at a famous local place named “Fama Disco.” At the end of the program, he was hired by “Fabrika Disco Loft” where he was in charge of the DJ booth one night per week. Soon he was promoted and was able to dj for up to 2,500 people. During that time he also displayed a natural talent for Public Relations and Publicity, and as such became in charge of handling a large number of promoters and all of the night shows.

In 1997 Mariano began his residency in “El Diablo”, and organized “Electro Festival” for “Sabor Pizza Bar” for almost 500 people. In 1999, he changed residency to “Mixto Disco” and during this year, every Friday was sold out to an attendance of 1,500 people.

In 2000, still living in Lincoln, Mariano worked at the club “Egoo Disco” (accomodating 3,000 people) until he traveled to Taipei, Taiwan, for two months for his first international appearance in front of 300 people.
Back in Lincoln, he started the first outdoor dancing floor for “Egoo Disco” where he played Sets of almost 9 hours and set the record of the longest nights of electronic music in Lincoln. Later that year, he created the third edition of the “Electro Festival” in “Blues Bar” for more than 200 people.
At the end of 2001 he decided to work full time producing and hosting radio programs on 92.5 FM, “Programa Alternativo”, the most important station which had the highest audience in the history of FM Radio in Lincoln between 1990 and 2006. Also during this year, he made his debut on Telered Cable Channel 4 on a 24 episode program named “ADNtv”

Still in Lincoln City, he acquired the Club “La Esquina” and changed it into “Nativa Club”. This club, managed and djed by Mariano had an outdoor dance floor dedicated exclusively to electronic music for 3 years in a row.

At the beginning of 2006, he started a new business; “ADNalternative Online Radio” which became one of the most popular radios in Latin America. At the same time, he created an Agency named “ADNmanager DJ’s Agency” and played with other DJs in several places in Buenos Aires and the suburban areas. Finally, that same year, he put together “ADNalternative Tour” and djed in three different cities: Buenos Aires, Rosario and Junin. In Junin he played with 35 DJs such as, Tarkan (Turbia), Fernando Picon (Uruguay), Hernan Paredez (Argentina), Diego Corbijn (Argentina), Jaxx (peru), Hans Tavera (peru), Sidam (Spain), Maria Paz(Colombia), Joe Fisher (Argentina), among others.

Mariano Santos has been influenced by all of the DJs he has met during his long career as he believes that everyone has things that can be shared and learned. Santos’s Sets vary from the very progressive to minimal tech and he always tries a combination on new styles.
